hi :) this is burger101. if we haven’t met yet, let us introduce ourselves. the idea (even before becoming an idea) started back in 2011 as way of paying my bills while living in canada. i had quit my career in advertising and decided to go search for a job that didn’t feel like a job. i was after something more meaningful than spending my days convincing people to buy stuff they didn't need from 9 to 5. after a year going from the dishes to the sous chef position (and learning how to make all kinds of burgers on the way up) in one of vancouver’s best burger joints, i realized that could maybe be it. back in brazil, in 2013, and looking for a way to keep living without being held as hostage by a job, the “burger classes” were born. the main goal was to teach all the burger fundamentals (that’s why it was called 101, in case you didn't realize) in a more casual, fun way. more like friends hanging out than a chef teaching crazy techniques in a cold "culinary school" vibe. now, almost thr
