Beyond the Glass

this blog is intended to inform, educate, and create discussion regarding the legal, business, and medical side of hockey. after many years of in depth discussions and the desire to present a different side of the hockey world to those wishing to learn and discuss, beyond the glass is the creation of yvon bryan, md and alec roberson, jd. two individuals with the desire to combine the love of hockey with the expertise of their profession. as playing hockey in the promise land known as the national hockey league slowly faded away, yvon and alec decided to explore and present a different side of the sport in both an informative and exciting manner. while not claiming to be experts, yvon and alec seek to provide thought provoking and meaningful content through explanatory and point/counterpoint articles that both explain and analyze many of the issues and normal conventions seen in hockey today.
