chinagoabroad (cga) is a unique membership community focused on cross-border investments involving china. analogous to an “o2o” (online-to-offline) project, there are two parts to cga: 1) an online information platform (with a database of investment opportunities), and 2) a bespoke offline consultancy (with a confidential portfolio of bespoke projects). cga is a transasia lawyers initiative and co-founded by the china overseas development association under the national development & reform commission (ndrc), and was officially launched in december 2013.we are also supported by (but independent from) the key prc authorities for cross-border investments at the national and local levels. cga currently has more than 9,400 subscribers and over 150 corporate/institutional members, of which around 50% are chinese (including the key state-owned entities, small and medium enterprises, and banks). we encourage our members to interact, exchange expertise and share their experience. with i
