founded in the early seventies by teresio fantini, co.ge.fa. starts its operations with motorway maintenance work. the company quickly developed its technical capabilities to take on important contracts for atm, turin’s public transport company, as well as the resurfacing of the city’s main arterial roads. in the eighties co.ge.fa. wins increasingly large tenders, making a transition from maintenance contractor to construction company. in the late eighties co.ge.fa. earns its place among italy’s medium-size enterprises thanks to important contracts for motorway building and large infrastrucutral works for anas. in the nineties the company strengthens its position on the turin territory through the acquisition and land consolidation of around 2.5 million square metres that will become the heart and operational centre of the company. it is also at this time that massimo and roberto come into the company, in 1988 and 1992 respectively. in the new millennium the youngest sibling, aless
