Barrie Defeat Depression

the defeat depression campaign is a national fundraising campaign run by the mood disorders society of canada (mdsc) and is designed to allow individuals and organizations to raise funds in support of their local mental health programs and services. the campaign has grown into a national movement bringing much-needed funds, awareness of mental health issues and fighting mental health stigma one event at a time. mood disorders society of canada (mdsc) is very proud that together, we have raised over $2,000,000 for mental health organizations, programs and services in communities from coast to coast since we started the national defeat depression campaign in 2012. in six short years, we have grown from 23 locations to over 90. we wish to extend our heartfelt and most sincere thanks and appreciation to the tens of thousands of caring canadians who take part in events and donate to the defeat depression campaign. mdsc is privileged to be working with so many wonderful local community organ
