*** ste. anne's hospital foundation has evolved to become the quebec veterans foundation *** why support the foundation ? we believe that the men and women who have served their country should all feel a sense of pride and be able to continue contributing to their community over the course of their civilian life, as well as live in dignity. what does the foundation do ? we support veterans experiencing challenges in order for them to succeed with their transition to civilian life while continuing to contribute to the well-being of veterans who reside at ste. anne’s hospital. how does the foundation operate? in collaboration with provincial and federal institutions as well as with local non-profit organizations, the foundation battles against professional, family and social exclusion factors faced by veterans that slow down or hinder a successful transition to civil life, particularly issues related to mental health. the foundation also contributes to the quality of care, the quality of
