we are a public employee retirement association. privately established in 1962 and independently operated by our membership. we're administered by a board, which is selected by the membership every two years at the annual meeting in september. details of the annual meeting are addressed on both the official retirees association website and in the summer newsletter. at it's core, the retiree association is all about staying connected and staying involved... preserving and highlighting michigan's rich history and the conservation of our state's natural resources. keeping involved in conservation issues, efforts. maintaining contacts and friendships with former colleagues and friends throughout the country, and, just as importantly... having fun doing it.
