be good, be light and enjoy! our main objective was to develop a snack that is healthy, light, tasty, and functional. our β-gut snack is a snack of the 21. century. it is low in fat, high in fibre and contains only a small amount of sugar. high fibre products usually have bad taste; bad texture and give no other positive sensory experience. in contrast, β-gut snacks are sweet and crunchy. their high fibre content does not taint the overall taste of the snack at all. we wanted to bring together two usually distant parameters: a healthy snack and excellent taste. our snack contains 36 % of fibre (100 g) and 11,25 g (100 g) of beta-glucan, which have proven cholesterol lowering properties. the production is simple, with minimal energy input throughout the process of making and storage. we wanted to make the needed energy input minimal. the packaging is made from recycled materials, and contains some innovative features, that complete the circle of our product. β-gut snack the name o
