binara foundation is a non-profit organization constituted in 2021 at the ministerio de ambiente, agua y transición ecológica del ecuador, maate, whose mission is the protection of the biodiversity of ecuador and the communities that depend on it. its purpose is to make the world a better place for all and all. for this, decisions based on evidence are made and is reversed in long-term impact actions. in alliance with private companies, private donors, cooperation agencies and national and local governments binara foundation support the work of nonprofit organizations; micro, small and medium enterprises; water funds; networks, associations and cooperatives of the popular and solidarity economy; small and medium agricultural producers; indigenous organizations; and, urban collectives through the channeling of monetary and non-monetary resources to protect, conserve and restore key ecosystems and ecosystem services for life in ecuador and for the populations that depend on them. bina
