gaps was initiated by the european access network. we aim to open up opportunities in post-secondary education for all people, especially those experiencing disadvantage. while the number of people participating in post-secondary education has risen globally over recent decades, participation still remains beyond the reach of many, while others face obstacles to the successful completion of their studies. new approaches and efforts are needed to tackle the many factors that still hinder successful participation, this also means addressing inadequate primary and secondary education and opportunities for adult learning. for more information visit our website: www.gaps-education.org/about-us/
