we want to help consumers and retailers connect, so we're building a location-based products & services search engine. we think consumers should be able to find local retailers regardless of a big web presence, costly advertizing or prime real estate. the vast majority of independent retailers cannot afford those luxuries making it hard for them to compete. even today in this 'information age', most independent retailers don't have websites....and those that do, typically fall short of revealing which products or services they offer. we as consumers are left guessing where to find all we need and typically fall back to shopping at stores most familiar to us. gnowing will change the way consumers find the products and services they need and the local retailers who offer them.
