ballet chesapeake, the premier classical and contemporary dance company in harford county and the northern maryland region, is composed dedicated pre-professional dancers who audition each year and commit to an intensive schedule of classes, rehearsals and performances. the company produces two mainstage productions each year, including a mixed repertory performance in the spring that features a well-known classical ballet as well as the ever-popular nutcracker in december. the company also reaches over 1,500 harford county students and adults each year through its community events and outreach programs. ballet chesapeake strives to provide the highest quality dance training and performance opportunities to its members and exceptional dance entertainment and education to the community.
