Bhartiya Harit Khadi Gramodaya Sansthan

bhartiya harit khadi gramodaya sansthan or bhkgs, promoted by bhartiya micro credit (bmc), is a society endeavouring to promote the khadi development and alleviating poverty through direct and indirect intervention, support and services. the bhkgs is registered under the society act-1860, (registration no. is - 688, 1-179788) and is empanelled with khadi and village industries commission or kvic. the idea of establishing bhartiya harit khadi gramodaya sansthan is inspired by the government of india’s vision — to work with khadi in its innovative embodiment to generate rural employment. bhartiya harit khadi is a nationwide skilling and employment generation movement. its self- sustainable model aims at creating a chain of employment for not just a handful people but over 50 millions, especially women from rural india.
