Beised

beised. was founded by chuxin huang and joyce yang during a lockdown winter in 2021. a podcast for the asian third culture kid to share their stories in their teens, 20s, & 30s. as friends with a 10-year age gap, beised. shares their experiences and explore topics as young women learning, working, and living where they're currently ba(ei)sed. as the two girls navigate their own life transitions, they realised identity isn't entirely defined by occupation, gender, age, geography, or even ethnicity. instead, identity is ba(ei)sed in what our choices have led to - always subject to change. in chinese, joyce's name and chuxin's nickname are both bei bei (贝贝).
