i am a queen is a 501 ( c ) 3 nonprofit organization that focuses on empowering girls ages 10-18 to be “queens” through our annual teen empowerment conference. in addition, i am a queen spearheads annual community service events such as back to school drives, thanksgiving turkey giveaways, winter drives for the homeless and christmas adoption programs. the mission of i am a queen is to uphold women in a high standard in their community. to educate and provide services that can change lives and to always be a blessing to others by providing charitable deeds. i am a queen has contributed to the community through several programs of note: teen empowerment conference (series) – served 390 girls back to school drives – served 2,759 boys and girls thanksgiving turkey giveaway – served 727 families christmas adoption program – served 174 children winter drive for the homeless: the "king" project – served 696 homeless men, women and children
