I Am Equal Project

our vision “to gather 100,000 pictures of individuals from around the world and highlight the movement of peace through equality and human rights.” a declaration the words “i am” are powerful and transformative throughout history. those who have chosen to claim individual value through these words ultimately stood up for unconditional love, equality, freedom and peace. “i am equal” is a declaration of freedom, power, and passion. world history is littered with the tragedies perpetrated by those who could not grasp this simple idea. we declare equality and stand for the equal rights of all mankind through the world. about the project i am equal is a global awareness photo project from international photographer matt spencer, showcasing people of all walks of life, claiming equality and taking a stand for human rights. this project documents the many people who choose to stand up and offer their hand for equality, unity, and human rights throughout the world. the architects the “i am equ
