at i believe in me girls (“ibim girls”), we envision a community in which every girl develops into their full potential, capable of making informed, responsible decisions as productive and involved members of society. through mentorship, we nurture their goals, aspirations and ambitions while encouraging them to flourish into their full potential. currently, we are focused on making a lasting impact in the lives of each young person we come in contact with during the course of the program. positive behavioral changes coupled with successful goal achievements confirm that the work we are doing is making a difference in the lives of the individuals we serve. we are always looking for new ways to enhance our programming, thus we have recently added a reality-based learning project that will also support the community in which we serve. ibim girls’ healthy harvest heroes’ program was developed as a way for mentees to create and sustain a community garden in an effort to encourage healt
