i build rockets is a manufacturer of model rocket kits and provides a laser cutting service. although founded in 2007, the first production kit, the "ballistic chicken" went on sale in about august of 2010. the 2nd kit, the "orbital decay" has reached production stage after 4 months of flight testing and development work. two prototype kits were made available in late 2010 with the production run beginning in 2011. as at feburary 2011, two more kits are in pre-production stage. these form the start of the "altitude series" of kits, designed for maximum altitude for the motor class.
