winery founded in the early 70's by enzo lorenzon in san canzian d'isonzo in the province of gorizia in northeastern italy. the winery continued its growth with the acquisition of large and valuable vineyards throughout the friuli doc - isonzo region, a specific area, which is located at the same latitude of southern burgundy, cognac or oregon: a land yielding wines of great prestige also thanks to a mild mediterranean microclimate. all wines are produced with the grapes of lorenzon’s vineyards. today lorenzon family manage 90 hectares of vineyards and orchards and produce around 450.000 bottles/year. the portfolio includes both white wines (native and international qualities), which represent 65% of total production - including pinot grigio, sauvignon, ribolla gialla, friulano, sauvignon, chardonnay, prosecco, the istrian malvasia, traminer aromatico - red wines, which account for the remaining 35% of production, including cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, refosco dal pedunc
