I Love Vinyl

founded by nyc-based dj/producer scribe in the summer of 2009, with a dream team of resident romantics, wax poetics, halcyon, raw fusion, great weekend, and fusicology present this monthly all-vinyl oasis on 4th saturdays, at the gallery bar at le poisson rouge. i love vinyl: on the b-side is a brooklyn extension of the franchise which began with a huge blowout at brooklyn bowl in the spring of 2010, and moves to southpaw in 2011. all-stars the twilite tone, ge-ology, amir, scribe, op! and jon oliver comprise the dream team. the sounds are mind-wide, foot-friendly, and snap crackle popping. anything is fair game, but you will probably hear some soul, disco, dilla, boogie, hustle, hip-hop, old-school house, no wave, new jack swing, dancefloor jazz, latin, funk, electro, and afrobeat. no pretentious bullshit, no dress code, no commercial radio nonsense, and no laptops allowed.
