ioves was founded in 1950 in san nicolò by the costanbrothers, ennio and gildo. what began as a handicraft/artisan trade soon transformed into a full-scale business. they were among the first pioneers to operate eyewear factories in the comelico/cadore district. in 1994, ioves decided to move its production plantto lozzo di cadore. through this move, they renovated the plant and upgraded the manufacturing technologies in order to keep up with the growing demand. thanks to the technical expertise and industry experience accumulated for more than 60 years, ioves today is distinguished for its quality, comfort, and stylish eyewear. all ioves creations are the result of attention to material selection, the design of innovative shapes and styles in line with market trends and the strict quality control on the production phase. ioves is especially skilled in eyewear production made of acetate and metal. through the combination of advanced technologies and italian traditions, the family
