I Speak Chicago

i speak chicago is a collaborative initiative of several chicago organizations and groups, founded in response to the deeply heart-wrenching and persistent patterns of violence plaguing this city. the new coalition exists as the fiscal subsidiary of worldwide orphanage relief coalition (worc) and was founded in partnership with crowdnoize a chicago digital music startup. as a diverse group of young, passionate individuals with backgrounds in the arts, education, entrepreneurship, communication, and activism, we are united by a deep sense of commitment to our beloved chi-city in its time of need. we challenge ourselves, our peers, and the greater chicago community to accept our place at the center of a revived national debate on systemic violence, and to raise our collective voice for sustainable, holistic, and fundamental change.
