the economic development organizations in plymouth, monona, and woodbury counties are working together to increase entrepreneurial activity in northwest iowa and support small business growth. we are creating opportunities for people to collaborate and explore their own entrepreneurial ideas and inspire them to put those ideas into action. in an effort to build the culture entrepreneurs need to succeed, our regional partners are hosting networking events for entrepreneurs to make key connections, organizing business idea competitions for a chance to win startup capital, providing specialized educational programs and technical assistance, and identifying new resources and programs that will benefit our local entrepreneurs. by creating a culture where entrepreneurs have access to the resources they need, they have the opportunity to advance their business at a faster pace than they would without these resources, with an end goal of becoming more successful and creating more jobs and w
