iota is a design company with a social and ecological mission. we strive to design luxurious handmade objects for the interior, through traditional hand-craftsmanship, while creating jobs for otherwise unemployed people worldwide .we teach the skill of knitting and enable practicing it to earn an honest living . iota is based on three fundamentals: the use of handmade elements to create new, unexpected designs; the usage of luxurious bespoke yarns and materials, developed independently; and being a social business that has impact on the lives of our employees and our community. all these create a new textile language that combines various materials into unlimited products . we believe that regardless of the infinite possibilities that technology offers, people still seek for a personal and unique hand print that fill emotional and practical needs. our handmade products have a past, a background and a memory. we use traditional techniques with various fibers: wool, cotton and synthetics
