Iowa Chinese in Agriculture

icia, a non-profit and volunteer-based 501(c)3 organization, was established in 2006. icia board of directors gives the vision and direction of the organization and executive committee conducts the daily duty. icia members consist of professionals in research, education, production, and business in agriculture across iowa. as a non-profit organization, its goal is to establish a platform to foster the interaction and collaboration of agricultural professionals in us and china. to achieve this goal, the following aspects are our current foci: promote application of the modern agricultural science and technology and agricultural constitutive development in iowa; create a favorable environment in iowa for recruiting world class experts in agricultural sciences; maximize contribution of chinese american scientists in agricultural development in us, china and the world; create more opportunities for exchanging new agricultural technologies across us and china; establish a friendly bridge be
