Iowa Trio, Eoa

iowa trio is a professional organization comprised of trio professionals and stakeholders. in iowa, 26 higher education institutions host federal trio grants and are committed to increasing access to higher education for underrepresented iowans. iowa trio is a chapter of the educational opportunity association (eoa). trio includes seven outreach and support programs targeted to serve and assist low-income, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs. the programs in iowa include student support services, educational talent search, upward bound, educational opportunity centers, and ronald e. mcnair postbaccalaureate achievement program.
