the expert center on interprofessional collaboration in healthcare and welfare coordinates research on interprofessional collaboration in relation to the processes at the level of the professional (e.g., identity development and professional wellbeing), at the level of the team (e.g., team functioning, norms and values) as well at the level of the care receiver/client/patient (e.g.quality of care, health). the center conducts cutting-edge research both on a fundamental level as well as applied level with the aim to optimize healthcare and welfare education as well as interprofessional collaboration in practice. the center is led by prof. peter pype, prof. jessica van oosterwijck and prof. emelien lauwrier
