the integrated security education and research center (iserc) blends science, technology, policy, and ethics across homeland, national and cybersecurity domains. our mission is to provide high-quality solutions for integrated security problems. our vision is to be a world-class center for education, analytics, research, training, services and products in integrated security. we bring together faculty across disciplines to help fulfill vt and pamplin’s missions by: - providing a state-of-the-art learning environment to prepare students for in-demand careers in integrated security, especially those related to analytics; - fostering collaborative research initiatives that result in research that traverses disciplines (transdisciplinary research); - providing cross-sector training opportunities and partnerships; - solving problems in integrated security; - defining and exploring entrepreneurial opportunities for technology in the integrated security space.
