isha ghent is part of the international students of history association. isha is an international network of history students that tries to bring students from all over the world together. they organize several seminars and conferences per year about particular subjects at different places in europe. these conferences contains many activities, with a balance between academical, cultural and social events. every student (ba, ma, phd) with an interest in history can apply for participation in such an international conference. students at ghent university can participate through the local section of isha ghent. locally, we try to organise events with an international character to connect the belgian students with the incoming erasmus students at our faculty. a strong academical approach is also one of our main goals in that.
