Islamic Relief Sri Lanka

islamic relief is an international relief and development agency dedicated to alleviate the poverty and suffering of the world poorest people. islamic relief has been working in sri lanka since year 2004, soon after tsunami tragedy. over the last ten years it carries out many projects responding to the needy people. initially islamic relief started officially registered locally in year 2005 and continues its operation by assisting tsunami affected people, war affected people and poor and needy people regardless of race, color, political affiliation, gender or belief. islamic relief sri lanka works in all part of the island promote socially, economically and environmentally sustainable development by working with vibrant local communities and respective government institutions. islamic relief sri lanka is legally registered as a non government organization under the ministry of social services. presently islamic relief implements projects via a local agency.
