Island Language College

island language college is located on eleuthera island, in the bahamas. it is comprised of nine structures- the main lodge housing the kitchen, dining and classroom facilities, male and female dormitory facilities, a mixed dormitory for groups and families, sauna with a picture window view of the ocean, outdoor bar and beach shack. it sits on a hill top overlooking a remote and pristine 20 km long, pink sand beach. three meals daily are served family style providing yet more opportunities for students to practice their english with faculty and staff. our motto at ilc is “where the classroom meets the outdoors.” we have developed a unique english language curriculum where we use the outdoors as an extension of our classrooms. each week students enjoy five half-day and one full-day guided learning excursions. these excursions include, snorkeling and free diving instruction from shore or from our boat at our many interesting sites; land excursions to beautiful beaches and historical sites
