isseco, the international secure software engineering council, was established to standardize the education and certification of skills for secure software development. these skills cover everything that is needed to produce secure software, throughout the entire development cycle. it includes requirements engineering, trust & threat modelling, secure coding, security testing, and security response to code protection. isseco guarantees an up-to-date syllabus and exam questionnaires; we also offer accreditation for qualified education partners. the examination and certification process is performed by isqi on behalf of isseco. isseco is a german 'verein', a not-for-profit organization. our members are renowned software security experts. isseco is supported by a number of organizations that share a common interest in enhancing the level of security qualification in the software industry.
