athlone optical was formed in 1984 by local optician paddy casey as a provider of prescription safety eyewear and glazing services. in 2013 the concept of issential optics was launched. issential optics is a one stop shop for independent opticians. we provide glazing services, frames, uncut lenses, all-in frame/lens packages and repair services to ecp's in ireland. this is in addition to being a key supplier of prescription safety eyewear to industry in ireland.
