itstimetohelp.org is an volunteer organization of semiretired, retired and veterans that have basic construction skills that are willing to donate a week or two a year to help communities in need. with the support of community-minded corporate partners, we will initially be an army of 1,000 volunteers that will go where we are needed and do what we can, whether it be relief after a natural disaster or just fixing up a school. if you can lift a broom, even for just a couple hours a day, we want you. if you can do more, if you an an electrician, a plumber, a contractor, etc., we want you.. this is the ultimate opportunity to pay it forward. has life been good to you? well, then take one week a year and make it better for others.
