j&j wines is a small family owned grower and producer of boutique wines in mclaren vale with a strong focus quality, flavour and service to wine lovers. history; upon arriving in australia in the 1950’s jeff mason (1st generation) shared his last dollar with now wife joan sharing a meat pie for dinner. since that day jeff and joan (j&j) had 2 kids and have lead an extraordinary life together. jeff with the support of his family established a business in the building trade here in adelaide which still successfully operates today after 52 years in business and is run by his son darrell(2nd generation). jeff being the “busy” person he is planted the now j&j organic vineyard on his 5.5ha property in the late 1990’s when he decided it was time to retire in which time his grandson troy (3rd generation) became involved and still is today.nearly 80 now jeff has taken a step back from working life and now provides his invaluable knowledge of the vineyard and in business to son darrell
