the first time i walked into a gym it was 2003 and i was a heartbroken teenager who had no idea what i was doing. i fell in love with how working out made me feel and spent the next 5 years learning the basics and getting into a fitness routine. i wanted to get better results so i added in tons of cardio. to my great disappointment, despite all my effort and hard work, i basically stayed the same because i was just doing more of the same! over the next 5 years, i would go on to have 3 beautiful daughters. each time i would workout endlessly, and cut out entire food groups. i felt exhausted, suffered from headaches and had trouble thinking clearly. i would restrict myself so much that i would eventually be ending up binging on the wrong foods because i felt so depleted. it is a cycle that many of us, men and women, know too well. fast forward to my last baby. i educated myself about nutrition and how our bodies process and use the food we put into it. i reevaluated everything i had lea
