i’m jake, a creative and globetrotter loosely *key word* based out of nashville, tennessee. for me, being behind a camera is simply about the opportunity to explore my curiosity and tell a story. whether it's shooting an indigenous tribe in ecuador, a lululemon yoga experience, or a local nashville musician, it's all about the challenge of taking the story that's in front of me and telling it in the most honest and captivating way possible. at the age of 21, i took a risk and moved to kenya to volunteer as a photojournalist and pursue a career as a photographer. and now, years down the road, i’ve traveled to 55+ countries, and have been fortunate enough to make my passion my career. now, i spend my time traveling shooting for various brands and companies helping tell their story all over the world. when i’m not shooting, you can find me playing basketball, eating street food, or booking a flight. i believe a single image has the power to influence someone to take action and make the
