Jake's Toggery

jake’s toggery is not just about fashion; but a lifestyle. we bring you the best so that you always look and feel your best, no matter the occasion. the first jake’s toggery store was launched in our home town of dayton, ohio. at that time, we knew very well what our fashion perspective was going to be - classic. american. style. what we were less sure of was a name to convey that perspective. the “toggery” part was easy - “toggery” is defined by merriam-webster dictionary as a noun meaning “clothing” or a “clothing store”, and we thought it was memorable. we then chose the name “jake” because we wanted a name that everyone could relate to, and who has ever met a “jake” they don’t like?!? but there was something missing. an actual jake! and so in 2017 we welcomed a new addition to our family – a now 110 pound golden doodle we named jake – “jake the tog dog”, in fact!. jake has been an amazing addition to both our family, and to the jake’s toggery family of stores and associates. he
