Jakobsens a/S

in 1996 jan jakobsen and knud hvam founded jakobsen & hvam a/s. since then, the company has grown to become one of the largest honey producers in scandinavia. in 2001, a brand new and tailormade factory was built, and at the same time, the company achieved the brc certification. processing and bottling is done by a skilled staff with a thorough knowledge of beekeeping and honey production. an up-to-date and flexible production plant with a daily capacity exceeding 30 tonnes secures that even the largest costumer demands can be accommodated. since 2008 knud hvam has not been a part of the owners. in 2010 helle reinevald became one of the owners with jan jakobsen. in the summer 2011 the company changed its name to: jakobsens a/s – and also changed the product name also to jakobsens. this was to strengthen the competitiveness in denmark and abroad and also to get a stronger brand. jakobsens a/s is today scandinavia's largest honey producer of honey for catering, retail and industrial prod
