specialized in the production of shafts and rollers. jakom is capable of turning shafts and rollers cnc-controlled up to a length of 23 meter in all different kinds of (stainless)steel grades. deep-hole drilling up to 16 meters, shaft straightening, dynamically balancing and certified up-welding are well-known in-house activities, to guarantee the highest quality: - propeller and intermediate shaft, - pump shaft, - piston rod, - piston shells, - cooling rolls, - paper rolls, - etc. within our network of material suppliers (forged and castings as well) we can even handle the material purchasing, but also coatings like chrome-plating, nickel-plating and ceramic-plating. jakom has a lot of experience with classification societies such as abs, dnv-gl, bv, lloyds register, ccs and prs. jakom is iso9001 and iso14001 certified.
