inspiration my paintings focus on the social impact of (geo) politics, movements and warfare. i am trying to make sense of those aspects of human behaviour by scrutinizing them. this consists of doing research of photographs, literature and historical footage. luckily there is no future without history so to speak. my expertise in painting include mediums like oil, acrylic, watercolour (aquarel) and gouache. at the moment i am especially into oil painting because it is a process of thought in which you constantly need to reshape your drawings.the flemish primitives (i.e.) is here a well known historical method which i am analyzing at the moment. (3d) modeling is becoming a new area of interest for me as well. especially rapid manufacturing is worth keeping an eye on these days. cura, 123d design and sketchup are accessible programs to work with if you are interested as well. about me 2011 (august) - 2014 (july) running a studio/workshop in solidd. currently studying anthropology and it
