JCK Foundation

the jck foundation is a mental health foundation. jck foundation was created to raise public awareness about the paralyzing effects of the brain disorder known as obsessive compulsive disorder (ocd) and other mental disorders. we aim to provide a compassionate and accurate description of mental disorders and help people affected come to terms with this disorder so they can feel comfortable seeking treatment. jck honors the work of john cleaver kelly who succumbed to ocd in march 2011. the foundation continues john’s initial mission to educate and mentor students with ocd and other mental health disorders. the foundation’s goal is being realized through various speaking engagements and events that help alleviate the social stigma of these disorders as well as providing outlets where those affected (both directly and indirectly i.e., family, friends, classmates, etc) can seek help. we are a family. a group of people devoted to making the lives of those affected by mental illness easier.
