my passion for lighting design started working on interior design projects, while earning my bachelor of science degree, in interior design from tcu. starting my career in lighting design at craig roberts associates after graduation, was the catalyst to my design philosophy today. create an environment where lighting is integral to the architecture, provoke emotion and create atmosphere with layers of light within the space. working closely with the interior designer, architect and client is key to the success of the project. lighting used solely as illumination becomes a flat plane; when we integrate accent lighting for artwork, furniture, millwork and decorative lighting, we create the layers of light that bring a unique identity to the space. an environment that enhances the architecture and interior design without drawing attention to its source is the art of lighting design.
