jessica hansen pilates is a private pilates bungalow in venice beach, ca. with training in integrative body psychotherapy, laban movement analysis, body-mind centering, bartenieff fundamentals, dance movement therapy, body movement observation, neuroscience, mindfulness, and breath techniques, jessica offers a holistic lens through which she teaches pilates. with pilates as the vehicle of discovery, students become aware of the ways they move and breathe in their practice, and are encouraged to make connections to the ways they move and breathe in their daily lives. by making shifts in class that support of fuller capacity of aliveness, strength, flexibility and breath, students shift the ways move in the world and live more embodied lives.
