Jessica Yang Flute Studio

praised for her “artistry, musicality and tonal beauty,” new york city based flutist, jessica yang enjoys a versatile career as a soloist, orchestral musician, and pedagogue. as a flute soloist, jessica has performed as a concerto soloist with the music in the mountains festival orchestra and the carnegie mellon baroque ensemble. as an orchestral musician, she performed regularly with the carnegie mellon philharmonic and wind ensemble. she has also performed with the eastern music festival orchestra, the bowdoin international music festival orchestra, and the north america chorus association. jessica has maintained a private flute studio since 2009 and has inspired students of all levels with her gift of music. her primary teachers include alberto almarza (international flute soloist & pedagogue), jeanne baxtresser (former principal flute of the new york philharmonic), and tadeu coelho (international flute soloist & pedagogue). aside from her passion and achievements in flute performan
