jet dog is an owner operated dog walking and training service in and around oakland, california. we believe in the strength and importance of the dog-human relationship and know every interaction tells your dog something – so why not make it good. whether you need help getting your dog to do something differently or you need help caring for her with a good outdoor romp, jet dog can help. how it all started: the seed of jet dog began with a dream to: 1. build self-esteem, empathy and leadership in youth. 2. find shelter dogs loving homes so fewer are euthanized. 3. enhance the health and well-being of elders. the non-profit project will reach it’s mission by developing and teaching a training series for youth to train shelter dogs, which will in turn help them become (more) adoptable. during the series the youth will bring their shelter ‘project’ dog to visit elders to brighten their emotional well-being. at the end of the series the youth will place their shelter ‘project’ dog in a lov
