jete is working to advance global agreements, and national policies, which address major challenges facing the world. we believe these challanges have been well defined by the world business council for sustainable development (wbcsd) in their vision 2050. we support of this vision. the wbcsd calls for an ideal of "one world - people and planet". this ideal requires responsibility for one's own actions, each other and the planet for future generations. as global citizens, we have rights and responsibilities. to ensure these rights, and carryout our responsibilities, effective governance is required.
