Jetlag Festival

founded in 2008 by a group of russian-american artists and cultural activists, jetlag is an annual open-air music & camping festival that highlights traditional and contemporary trends in music, poetry and performance art. the largest russian music festival in the us, 2500-3000 come each year to camp at the festival grounds in delaware county, and experience leading performers/artists from the russian-speaking world showcased on 5 stages during the 3-day festival. jetlag also features a number of tents and activity areas providing everything from art installations to youth theater workshops to cooking classes to panel discussions. jetlag discovers, establishes and maintains links between groups of different cultures, generations and tastes. the festival contextualizes and explores genres, styles and projects that embody such links, such as russian guitar-poetry and folk song, rock, klezmer and east european music, trance, rap and freestyle poetry. it is a great source for those eng
