jewelwing design is the work of artist & illustrator tasha chapman. her work focuses on nature, especially animals and all things aquatic. tasha believes everything has a personality and she creates pieces to express what that might be. she brings beauty, a bit of humor, and a handmade feel to everything she creates. jewelwing design originated as a graphic design company, focusing on print advertising . however a few years ago the focus shifted towards art & illustration. tasha started putting her artwork on shirts and having them sold through online shirt contests. because of the increased exposure offered online, she was able to put a greater focus on her art, which was her true love in the first place. jewelwing's work has been reproduced on prints, shirts, iphone & ipad cases, wrapping paper, home goods and other products. the designs can be purchased at threadless, urban outfitters, shirt.woot, grove and goodjoe, to name a few. originals are also available at jewelwing.com.
