jhm was created in 2014 as a research and consultancy firm in criminal economics and risk management to meet the needs of decision makers for strategic information. we have developed situational crime analysis methods to identify economic or sophisticated patterns in crime records, such as distinguishing a wholesaler from a drug, tobacco or electronics retailer. we use the international classification of crime for statistical purpose (iccs) as one of the references, natural language processing and machine learning to gain scale and assertiveness in the process.
